As with all Ranger products, Outpost ensures the security of your network is not compromised. Users have access to their home and shared folders only - not to the entire network. Intelligent software prevents unintended file duplication or overwriting when users hand in work, while users' passwords are not sent over the internet in clear text.
Easy to use
Accessing files remotely couldn't be easier! Users simply connect their remote PC to the internet, open Ranger Outpost and enter their standard network username and password - no need to remember yet more logon details. They can then drag and drop the file they need onto their remote PC, work on the file, then drag it back to the network area.
Activity Monitoring
Outpost gives you complete visibility of remote access activities. So you can-
